2023 Kia Soul – Kia was working on simplifying Kia’s Soul lineup for several years: having dropped the manual transmission on the base model this year, the company is eliminating the optional 201-horsepower Turbo engine and the rugged-looking X Line trim level. It’s also introducing the 2023 Soul’s new look.

Engine
This leaves the Soul’s primary engine option of 147 horsepower naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter inline-four engine with a variable auto transmission. Our tests showed that the model was able to reach 60 speed in 8.0 seconds and the Turbo achieved the feat within 6.4 seconds. The trim levels remaining comprise LX, S, EX and GT-Line.
New Design
Each model benefits from a fresh design for 2023 and include redesigned headlights, a new front bumper, in addition to new taillights and a new rear fascia. New 1718-inch and 17-inch wheel designs are a part of the fresh design.
Colors
Kia offers two new color options in two tones: Surf Blue with a black roof, which this one as well as Clear White with a black roof.
2023 Kia Soul Price & Release Date
Kia is yet to announce pricing, but we’re guessing it’ll be slightly higher than the current model’s rate of $19,545.
