2024 VW Aero B Electric Sedan – VW’s Aero B (also referred to as the ID Aero) electric sedan was expected to launch during April’s Beijing Auto Show in concept form. However, as the event was canceled because of the growing number of COVID-19-related cases in China, VW decided to put off the debut for a time.
Additionally, there was a Volkswagen Aero B prototype was recently observed on the roads surrounding the Nurburgring Nordschleife racetrack with several improvements compared to the earlier sighting. The most obvious change concerns the taillights The prototype is now sporting the production units underneath disguise. The lights appear horizontal, and their style should match that of the ID.3 along with ID.4. The car appears pretty clear of camouflage but this is just an optical illusion. Look closer and you’ll notice lots of camouflage and padding that hide the Volkswagen Aero B’s most prominent components. For instance, the panel which connects the taillights to the C-pillar is obviously fake as is the black part of the rear bumper that has faux “exhausts,” the area around the C-pillar, the front grille, and the shape of headlights (cleverly concealed by stickers) as well as everything on the front.

Aero B sedan has already been shown in two concept cars, most recently, the ID. Space Vizzion was revealed at the 2019 LA Auto Show. But, the study was a vehicle and suggests VW may be considering the possibility of a more practical design in the Aero B later on.
The concept car is expected to be launched in the coming year and will give a better idea of the final model which will likely feature lights on the front and back connecting the taillights and headlights. This Tesla Model 3 rival will be built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and will come with single motor RWD as well as dual-motor AWD engines, possibly including the sporty GTX model.
VW brand manager Ralf Brandstatter announced on March 1 in March that Brandstatter said in March that the Aero B production sedan would be launched in the second quarter of 2023 which could mean it will be available in 2024’s model year. The first version will be offered in China the electric car will have a range of approximately 400 miles (700 kilometers) due in part to its aerodynamic form. The US also has a strong chance of getting an Aero B, as VW USA manager Scott Keogh said in March that he believed he was “very optimistic about it coming to the US.”

The primary competitors for the model include Tesla Model 3, Polestar 2, and the Tesla Model 3, Polestar 2, and the soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Ioniq6. Aero B is not the ultimate name, but rather it’s a codename. VW hasn’t revealed the name of its electric car yet.
