2025 Seat Cupra UrbanRebel Review
The UrbanRebel is a concept that was announced prior to its appearance during Munich Motor Show. Munich Motor Show this month provides us with the first look at one of the smaller electric vehicles constructed around VW Group’s most compact MEB platform. It is expected that the UrbanRebel is expected to be followed by small electric vehicles that are built on the same platform by other brands belonging to the VW Group by the second decade. The front view has the huge cow-catcher bumper that looks great in the wild west train. The prominent crease that runs from the C-pillar’s base to those fenders on the sides is an impressive rendition of the 2019’s Cupra Tavascan SUV design.
The rear is adorned with a massive wing that attracts the attention of everyone. The rear light units have been cleverly extended beyond the Cupra logo that’s located within the center of the frame beneath the rear windows. They extend up to the uprights of the wings.
Cupra claims that the idea’s electric powertrain, which isn’t yet fully understood, can produce the equivalent of 335 horsepower every hour. It can also create as much as 429 horsepower over shorter periods of time. This will allow the car from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds. Production versions of the car are less powerful and will be more difficult to get to 60 mph faster than the standard version in 2025. The prototype only has three doors, however, it’s likely that there will be plenty of interest in the actual concept with five doors, even in cars with small dimensions.
2025 Seat Cupra UrbanRebel Release Date & Price
Volkswagen plans to determine the price of its most compact EVs which will be EUR20,000 ($24k/PS17k) and possibly use a cheaper lithium-phosphate battery. Seat-Cupra’s Martorelli factory will manufacture greater than 500,000 battery-powered electric cars from various VW brands. It’s not clear what this means for Seat. It is unclear what happens if VW will eliminate the Seat brand completely and introduce the UrbanRebel as a Cupra. Skoda could be able to fill in the gaps.
